I’ve just received a Statutory Demand from a Creditor, what do I do?

Well, the legal debt recovery process has started so you need to do something within 21 days of being served with the Statutory Demand!

Your main options are:

1. Pay the debt;
2. Have the statutory demand set aside;
3. Go into a payment plan to pay the debt
4. Don’t pay the debt

BUT – if you don’t pay the debt….you still need to do something…….as if you do nothing, this could lead to a Wind Up notice on the company which may lead to more serious issues.
