If I liquidate will I be able to get Finance in the future?

Well the short answer is YES… however, this is still dependent upon your financial circumstances at the time of finance application.

When you are a Director of a liquidated company – this is flagged on the ASIC file, and that is then pulled down into the various credit agency’s eg. Veda or Dun and Bradstreet – so you will have a flag on your credit file.

So if you are applying for finance – you will be asked about what happened. In most cases it will not be a deal breaker with the financier, but more of a please explain.

In some circumstances you may need to go to a less risk averse lender….which may cost a little more – but you should still be able to obtain the finance
