Can I Liquidate A Company When I’ve Received A Wind Up Notice?November 4th, 2016
“Can I liquidate a company when I’ve received a Wind Up Notice?”
Unfortunately, no, you can’t. The company is already in the Wind Up process so you’ll need to take alternative action. So, your options are: one, pay the bill in full and seek to have the Wind Up proceedings dismissed; two, do nothing and the business will be wound up, or three, and a more common option, go into voluntary administration where the administrator will work through what’s called a Deed of Company Arrangement and the business can continue to trade.
